Bernie Must Be Treated Fairly By Democrats . . . Or They Lose in November

Unless The DNC treats Bernie Sanders in a way that Sen. Sanders’ supporters feel is “fair”, Democrats will lose in November.

As such, the #DropOutBernie movement and attacks on Bernie to get out by Whoopie Goldberg on The View, and other such efforts, are almost certain to have the exact opposite effect intended.

I must disclose that I did not vote for Bernie Sanders in the California Primary as I did not believe that he was the strongest candidate to defeat Donald Trump. But I am calling on The DNC and all Democrats to do everything in our power to conduct the most fair and impartial and open remainder of the primary process possible . . . and, instead of #DropOutBernie . . . to #CountTheVotes.

Remember how we all felt in 2000 when The Supreme Court in Bush v. Gore, (by a 5–4 ruling) did not allow for Florida to count the votes and handed George Bush the Presidency? Well, Bernie voters in 21 states, plus Puerto Rico, have not yet had THEIR chance to vote.

Why would we deny them that?

And, frankly, what’s the rush? We now have over 4 months before The Democratic National Convention. The Democratic Nominee will not be officially chosen now until we gather — in person or virtually — on August 17–21.
